Go Smarter Week (GSW) 2010 in Tyne and Wear is set to be bigger and better than ever before, so don’t miss out on getting your organisation involved!

What is GSW?

GSW is part of European Mobility Week, which is an awareness raising campaign aiming at educating citizens about the use of public transport, cycling, walking and at encouraging European cities to promote these modes of transport and to invest in the new necessary infrastructures.

This year throughout GSW our campaign in Tyne and Wear will focus on encouraging people to use the car less and think about more sustainable modes of travel, focusing particularly on 'active travel'.

How can you get involved?

Tyne and Wear employers…we need you! We want to work with employers across the area, to give you the tools that you need to set up GSW activities in your own organisation.
